2010 Jodi Picoult Reading Challenge

So, I have an entire shelf of my bookcase devoted to Jodi Picoult books.  I think there are 15 books on it!  Yikes!  So, I’ve decided to do a Jodi Picoult reading challenge in 2010.  My goal is to pare down this shelf by half, so I want to read at least 8 of the books.  I’ll keep track here of my progress and the books I’ve read!

I’m not sure if there is much interest from other readers and I’ve never hosted a reading challenge, so this is more of a personal challenge for me.  If anyone else is interested in participating, please post a link to your challenge post in Mr. Linky and we can connect as we read her books!  I also have no expertise or graphic design knowledge, so I’m clueless about making a fun little challenge badge.  If anyone is so inclined, I would be most appreciative!!

Come join me as we read some in-depth, thought-provoking Jodi Picoult books in 2010!  Just commit to reading at least one of her books and you can join in the challenge!  No other rules!  :)

  4. I love, love Jodi Picoult's books. I think the last one I read was "My Sister's Keeper." I can't wait to make some picks. It's been awhile since I've read her books. No good reason why. Thanks for giving the challenge.

Yay! I'm so glad you'll be joining me, Tea! Her books are so thought-provoking and she tackles some really tough issues, so I think there will be some good reviews of her books here!

  6. Bookalicious says:

Yay for Jodi Picoult! I've read most of her books in the past years and I only have like 5 to go, but I'm not interested in most of them. The ones I've read by her were amazing though (she's one of my favourite authors!) and I've just received an ARC of House Rules so I'll definitely be reading that one in 2010! Good luck with the challenge, I look forward to reading your reviews! :)

  7. Crazy-for-Books says:

I'm currently reading HOUSE RULES and loving it! That's what prompted me to start this challenge!! Her books have just been piling up and I really need to just dig in!! LOL :)

Oh, this will be like taking candy from a baby!I love Picoult's books, and even when I'm vowing not to buy new books (until my stack goes down!), I have to buy hers.So I'm in!There actually may be one or two of her older ones that I haven't read yet, but I'm definitely pre-ordering the newest one coming out in 2010.

One of my favorite authors! Thanks!

  17. I've read all of Jodi's books, but two!! I own all of them…they're truly fabulous!! I love how thought-provoking they are and that you can't just read them, set them aside, and move on. I know Jodi personally (she lives one town over) and she really is a nice person. Luckily, she's been kind enough to sign all of them for me personally too! I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts on the books as you read them….thought I see you haven't started quite yet *wink* If you want recommendations let me know, too! My blog is: hcprojectjournal.blogspot.comI'd love it if you could stop by sometime…I've really considered joining the Blog Hop, but I'm just truly getting started with doing book reviews so I guess I should wait. I'm in the midst of a blog revamp. Changing the look and focus, but keeping the same homey feel hopefully! I'd love if you could "hop" on over!!Thanks and good luck!Hannah
