For the Love of…..BOOKS!

Remember the FOL Sale I went to last month?  Well, I kinda forgot to post my goodies on my blog!  Oops!  I ended up with 69 books:

I’ve already read some of them, but grabbed them for others to read!  I made out pretty darn well, I think!!  I just have no clue where to put them since my bookcases are packed full as it is!!  Maybe I can make a table out of them for now??  ;)
I just asked my dearest hubby where to put them and he said he’d get me a couple of garbage bags!  The horror!!  I think he might be a wee bit upset with me at the moment.  He thinks that for every book I get in, I should get rid of one!  Will someone tell him that it doesn’t work that way?!
Oh, well.  I’m off to find a place for my new goodies!  And this doesn’t include the stacks sitting on my dining room table that came in the mail this week!  Oops…  ;)

I love having a reader for a significant other. He never asks me to get rid of books. He just gets annoyed when his TBR stack overflows his nightstand.

I wish my DH was a reader!! Normally he's ok with my book obsession, but it's getting kinda bad.. we can't even eat at the dining room table anymore!

Wow! Nice haul! Your hubby sounds like mine. He just doesn't get my love for books. I wanted to go to Books A Million yesterday and he looked at me and said really don't you have enough? As far as I'm concerned a house can never have enough books ;)

That is too funny! My husband would have had a cow if I brought home that many books. He tells me to sell the books I have everytime I get a new one too! I am now following you from Book Blog! Love your blog! ~Allisonhttp://luv-books.blogspot.com/

FOL Sale – Friends of the Library. Our local library district has a sale once a year. Books are typically $0.50 for mass market PBs, $2.00 for trade size softcover, and $3.00 for hardcover. On the last day of the sale, you can fill up a bag of books for $3. I took my reusable shopping bags and filled up 3 of them! It was a good time!! :) I found a place to put the books!! ON TOP of the bookcases!! I still have some room left up there, too! Woohoo! ;)

Jennifer you got some really good books. Our FOL is never that good with books. I don't feel so bad now my husband is not a reader and he is just like yours. If I start to complain about the books and where to put them he always says I have a box you can use. The nerve of them eh?
