Crazy Talk! A New Feature!

I’d like to get some more discussions going on my blog, so I’m starting CRAZY TALK!  Every so often, an idea will float magically into my head and it will be the perfect discussion topic for Crazy Talk!  Or, my crazy followers, if you have any suggestions for discussion topics. that would be awesome!  I’ll even credit you and link to your blog, if I use it!  :)

So, here’s what I’ve been pondering that I would love to hear your thoughts on.
What do you think of character names?  Do you wish you could change them sometimes?

How about multiple characters in the story who have the same first initial, first name letter?!  That drives me crazy!  Maybe I have a short attention span, but if there is more than one character in a book whose name starts with “M” (or any other letter!), I start getting confused!

What about “boys” names used as names or nicknames for female characters (i.e. Charlie, Frankie, etc.)?  When I first started reading The Hunger Games, I thought Katniss was male!  I had to go back and re-read some of the book because all of my assumptions were wrong!!

So, tell me your likes/dislikes/pet peeves/love-fests with character names!  Let’s get some CRAZY TALK going!  :)
