We are back today with the five Cupids from the Cupid Gone Wild book series. It has become common knowledge here on Earth of the 2011 Cupid Challenge to match the most unlikely couple. So we are talking to them all together so the Cupids can tell their side of the story.

Cupid X: All five of you Cupids sitting in front of me today spend your days taking shots at mortals. Now with the leak on the 2011 Cupid Challenge and the existence of Cupids in general there are questions. All of you made tough matches, you are all fighting to be acknowledged as the successful matchmaker of the most unlikely couple. What do you call out after making an especially hard shot? What should your nickname be after making the hard matches you did for the Challenge in the Cupid Gone Wild Series?

Cupid HH of The Hollywood HookUp jumps right in.

HH: Well I am a huge cartoon buff as well as being a True Love matchmaker to glamorous stars. So I am going with my nickname being The Tick. I like blue, I latch onto a couple and hang on until the job is done, and I have been known to call out “Spoon!” when headed into battle.

Cupid Red of The Boss Wore Red is quick to give his opinion.

Red: Really, isn’t this a bit banal? I do not shout in an unrestrained manner. I am in control at all times, as I take my Cupid tasks very seriously. And a nickname? Why in the world would I want one of those? I have been known as Acidophilus all my life and that is perfectly fine.

2-14: I hate the uniform- aka – diaper! I take it off whenever I can get away with it. So I guess my nickname should be RawHide. As for what I yell out after an especially hard hit, I have to admit, I probably shouldn’t tell you as Gods aren’t supposed to swear. But it’s rumored, never proved, that I’ve been heard to yell out F*&#ing A! However, I cannot confirm or deny the truth of any of those rumors.

Cupid TWT of The Wrong Target raises a chubby little hand in the air.

TWT: I’ll answer to True Grit, because I persevere regardless of being IT challenged. When I match couples even my ‘accidents’ work out perfectly.

Cupid B of The Bachelor Fame answers next – and yes he is rumored to have whispered the TV show idea in someone’s ear.

B: I’m a strong believer in alternative therapies and I’ve used dreams to persuade individuals of their perfect partner. In my own head, my nickname is “McDreamy.” I shout “Feel that, baby!” after my hard shots.

HH: Haha B! That’s funny since you are the one flying around in a diaper.

B: I’m the real thing, baby. No fake Hollywood stars for me. Just real people, real problems. Bring it on!

HH: Oh, I’ll bring it!

Cupid HH dives across the other three Cupids and there are cries as the feathers fly…
