The Hop lasts Friday-Monday every week, so if you don’t have time to Hop today, come back later and join the fun! This is a weekly event! And stop back throughout the weekend to see all the new blogs that are added! We get over 200 links every week!!
RULES:
Your blog should have content related to books, including, but not limited to book reviews.
If you have a suggestion for a future HOP question, click here to fill out the form! Thanks!
”If you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book), which book would it be from and what would that place be?”
My answer: I recently read The Violets of March by Sarah Jio and the author’s love for Bainbridge Island in Washington State just shines throughout the entire novel and it makes me want to visit there myself! It sounds like a beautiful place to relax and let the cares of your life just melt away. I would love to visit a place like that and spend at least a day there, getting to know all the great characters from the book, too! ;)
3. Visit other blogs in the Linky List! Make new friends! Follow new book bloggers! Talk about books! Rave about authors! Take the time to make a quality visit! Check out other posts and content, make a new friend! Don’t randomly follow someone if you never intend on actually following them! No spamming please! (Please do not leave your link and not visit other blogs – it’s just not cool and not in the spirit of the Hop!)
And just as an FYI – this event is not something you should feel that you have to participate in every week. If you want to join in and link up once a month, GREAT! It’s up to you how often you participate!
UPDATE: THE BOOK BLOGGER HOP DOES NOT ACCEPT TWITTER LINKS!
UPDATE #2: Please do not add “AND A GIVEAWAY” to your blog hop link.
How to enter your link (things are a little different, so read this please!):
The list is RANDOMIZED! So, when you enter your link, it will appear randomly in the list! To find it on a PC, hit Ctrl-F and type the name of your blog. You can delete your own link, too, so if you mess up, just delete it and start over!
Click the blue button that says ADD YOUR LINK and type in the information below:

Oh, this sounds so much like what I need. I just love the beauty of nature and could easily while away the hours just wandering and exploring its many wonders.
My fictional world is Narnia of Chronicles of Narnia. Now I'm wishing I had thought of a locale like this as well.

Great topic for this week's Hop!
Can I just complain for a moment about the fact that two of the links that I've clicked on so far have led to blogs that aren't participating? In fact, one's not even a book blog! It's nothing against you or the Hop, it's more a complaint about people who feel that publicity for their ad-ridden blog is more important than following the very clear guidelines that you've laid out. There are a lot of us out there who appreciate your blog and the Hop and it just annoys me that there are people who don't respect others.
End of rant.
Great Hop as usual!
Thanks Gabriel. If there are clear non book blogs, please e-mail me the title/link so I can investigate and remove as appropriate. I don't have time to police the Hop and check every link, but flagrant violators need to be brought to my attention so I can remove the link. Thanks.
That's awesome of you to point that out. I don't like when that happens either!
Wow, my question was picked again for the second time. Thank you. Thank you
Ivan Bookworm
Happy hopping!
I loved your question!

Back again after a weeks absence! nice question.
Thanks, Jennifer, for hosting the Hop!
Have a great weekend!
That sounds like such a nice place! I've never been to Washington and it seems like it's always described as rainy & gloomy in books. But a relaxing island sounds great.
I just joined the fun!, please come & check my blog out http://darkfrannysthoughts.blogspot.com/2011/05/b…
Bainbridge Island is indeed, gorgeous! I'd visit there in a heartbeat. I love Seattle, even though it is a wee bit chilly for my tastes.
This is such a tough one!! Despite the answer on my blog I think I would pick being a superhero and my power would be to jump to any book world I want at any time. Then, of course, when the trouble comes around I would jump back out.

Man this was a tough one!!
Come see ours & check out what we've been up to this week at Paranormal Wastelands!
I've never read it or heard of the book and since I'm a Washingtonian I must read it!
Happy Friday and have a great weekend!

Oh just wanted to say the Ivan Bookworm link doesn't work but I found a comment from Ivan and clicked on it. :0)

Haven't heard of Bainbridge Island but it sounds like a place I'd like to go!
I'm a new follower (GFC) and would love a follow back! Thanks for the blog hop! Donna http://mylife-in-stories.blogspot.com
I can't think of a place I'd want to visit unfortunately. I feel I'm in paradise now, so it's hard to find a place I'd like to visit.
The best fictional place would probably be Hogwarts.
Hmm, this book is on my to read list. I am so going to have to pick it up sooner rather than later.
