Read the History and Rules of the Hop. This link also includes information on how to submit a question for the Hop and how to be a potential Host of the Hop!

What to Do:
1. Post on your blog answering this question:

Are you attending the Book Blogger Convention (aka Bea Bloggers) and/or Book Expo America in New York City in June? If not, will you participate in the online event called Armchair BEA?

2. Enter the link to your post in the linky list below (enter your Blog Name, Genre you review, and direct link to your post answering this week’s question; failure to do so will result in removal of your link).

3. Visit other blogs in the list, spending quality time getting to know the people you are visiting. Don’t just visit the post with the question, but click around and read some of the blogger’s other content, too! This Hop isn’t about the number of people you can visit, but the quality of each visit.

My answer:
Yes, I am going to both the Book Blogger Convention (BEA Bloggers) and Book Expo America! I missed it last year, but I went the previous year and had a blast. I’m looking forward to meeting some new bloggers and sharing our love of reading together! It should be a great time! If you would like to meet up, let me know! It’s going to be a fun week and I would love to see as many of you as I can!

  1. I hope you have a great time, I am quite envious!

  2. Have a great time! Hopefully I can attend next year!

  3. I forgot to put my genre when I added to the list. Is there any way to go back and change it?

  4. yay i’m going, woot! i forgot to add my genre too. whoopsie! I review YA, children’s etc.

  5. I’m excited to see you there! I can’t believe it is only a month away!

  6. I’m so excited!! We are getting in around noon. We would love to meet up with you at the Hard Rock! One of the things I’m most looking forward to is meeting fellow bloggers. Kate and I (or one of us) has to be back to the hotel probably around 6 to let in our other roommates so we were just going to catch lunch and a little sight seeing in the between time.

When you make your travel arrangements let us know so we can pick a time for the Hard Rock. So exciting!!

    • We are staying at the Hampton Inn. I believe its the one on/near times square. We are like half a mile from the Javits center. Where are you staying?

  7. Hey Jennifer! Thank you so much for mentioning Armchair BEA! We’re getting ramped up to open participant registration on Monday and every little bit of publicity helps. So thank you!!!

Even though I’m part of the organizing team I actually get to go for the first time ever to BEA and I cannot wait! I’m so excited!!! Hopefully I’ll see you there! :)

  8. You guys need to work some vlogs, like bookish live from BEA if you meet up :D

  9. So happy to see the return of the Hop!

  10. Jen. I was all excited, so I put my blog in the linky list, copied your logo, pasted into a post on my blog, with some excited burbling, pasted in the question of the week and my answer, and published the post. Came back to explore some of the other blogs on the list for a bit, then noticed that I hadn’t fully read the instructions, and that my link would be deleted.
Remembered why I quit participating in the Hop the last time you were doing it, though I loved all the new blogs I discovered here. It takes a few extra steps to create a post, publish it, then grab the URL to return here and paste it in while creating an entry on the linky list, and most mornings (The Hop used to always appear on Fridays) I just don’t have enough patience to deal with it. I write all of my reviews ahead of time, on weekends and evenings, and they post on a predetermined schedule. It used to be about all I could manage just to come up with an answer to the weekly question when I posted a link to the Hop.
Removed my post about your Hop Resurrection…probably won’t be participating after all, tho love The Hop and your blog.
Go ahead and kill my entry on the linky.
    Best Wishes,
    Jon
